Electrical / power connectors

EEC manufactures power connectors for both multi-pin power and single conductor application with ampacities up to 1,500A at 2kVAC or DC. Interconnection systems are available for both hazardous and non-hazardous locations. These include but are not limited to ATEX (Cenelec) and North American (NEC) standards.

Cable glands

EEC manufactures a complete line of cable glands for both industrial and hazardous locations. The range covers compression-type glands to IP 68 and also barrier-type glands for the termination of armored cables. All armouring systems are covered with certifications, including both European (ATEX) and North American (NEC) standards.

This range includes a comprehensive line of accessories, including adapters and reducers.

Increased safety enclosures

EEC manufactures a complete line of enclosures, which are suitable as a compliment to our connector lines or as standalone terminal enclosure systems. The enclosures are manufactured from a variety of stainless steels and are available populated with terminals or as an empty enclosure.

Wire management systems

EEC manufactures a full line of wire management systems. These include cable grips, pulling grips and swivels. Typical applications include cable strain relief, fibre optic applications, oil-industry cable supports, conduit risers and overhead service cables. Cable grips are manufactured from a variety of materials, including galvanized steel, stainless steel and arimid.

HDS-enhanced insert system

The most recent developments in electrical connector development equipment include the HDS-enhanced insert system, which gives improved reliability and increased voltage ratings of up to 1,000VAC. The new EFP (enhanced) series of electrical connectors utilizes these enhancements to allow the connectors to operate safely and with increased voltages.
