Hydrogen Contract with Innovene in France
Air Liquide has signed a contract to supply 20,000 Nm3/h of hydrogen to Innovene's refinery at Lavera in Southern France, where it will be used for production of clean fuels.
To meet this requirement as well as other hydrogen requirements in the area, a new hydrogen unit based on Topsoe's steam reforming technology and catalysts will be installed.
The new hydrogen plant will be due for commissioning in late 2006.

The Alliance
Topsoe and Air Liquide (Paris, France) have a strategic alliance to the effect that Air Liquide will utilise Topsoe technologies and catalysts in plants to supply hydrogen, carbon monoxide and syngas to its worldwide customers on an own, operate and maintain basis.
