Airpack Secures Order for Abu Dhabi Bab Gas Compression Project

Airpack Netherlands of Zierikzee, Holland, has secured a large order for the Bab Gas Compression Project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Together with the corporation of our Korean sales agent, Airpack Netherlands BV was awarded by Seoul-based contractor SK Engineering and Construction to deliver air compressor and dryer packages.
The Bab Compression project, operated by the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations, is scheduled for expansion to increase the gas extraction capacity at the field up to 2.5 trillion cubic feet in order to safeguard the nation's annual energy supply. The project is expected to be completed by 2012.
The Airpack compressor and dryer packages, due to be completed by late 2010, will deliver compressed air to the nitrogen generators and instrument air for the site.
Airpack has already supplied many packages to the Middle East. "This project is a great addition to our previous references in that region," says Roel Trynes, sales manager of Airpack Netherlands. "It is a perfect opportunity for Airpack to show our capabilities of manufacturing custom made packages."
