Grant Geophysical Egypt Awarded 3d Dual Sensor Transition Zone / Obc Survey In Eastern Nile Delta, Mediterranean

Cairo, Egypt, August 30, 2005, Grant Geophysical Egypt announced today that it has been awarded an 1100 sq km 3D Dual Sensor Transition Zone / OBC survey in the El Burg Offshore Concession Area in the eastern Nile Delta area of the Mediterranean, by the operator BG International Ltd., together with partner, Petronas.

The crew is currently mobilizing to the area with acquisition operations anticipated to commence Q4 2005. This award follows the successful completion of a similar Transition Zone / OBC in the Gulf of Suez earlier this year.
