Tema India specialises in design, engineering, fabrication, testing and troubleshooting of S&T heat exchangers in complex metallurgy. The product range includes high pressure exchangers, screw plug type closures, diaphragm type closures, large diameter heat exchangers, helixchangers and other heat exchangers. It also provides surface condensers, feed water heaters and feed cycle equipment for power plants.

The heat exchangers involved in complex metallurgy are available in carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cupro-nickel, duplex and super duplex stainless steel, monel, incolloy and titanium. From a humble beginning as a small workshop in 1987, Tema India has grown into an organisation of expertise in the field of heat exchangers.

Based in Mumbai, India, Tema India has two manufacturing facilities with an installed fabrication capacity of 12,000t.

HIGH PRESSURE EXCHANGERS

Tema India provides high pressure exchangers in two types – screw plugs type closures and diaphragm type closures. The screw plug type closures are also known as breech-lock exchangers. High pressure exchangers and screw plug exchangers are extensively used in sectors such as refinery and hydrocracker units. Tema India customises high pressure exchangers and screw plug exchangers as per customers specifications.

The company has installed a 70in diameter screw plug exchanger (stack weight 210t) at CPCL Refinery in India. The high pressure exchangers and screw plug exchangers made by the company are well received by the customers. The company designs, develops and installs the screw plug type exchangers.

Tema India's team of experts has developed exclusive high pressure heat exchangers with screw plug (breech lock) design for hydrocracker and hydrotreater plants in refineries.

The company offers high pressure exchangers and screw plug exchangers designed to specified international design codes as well as with ASME 'U' and 'U2' stamp.

The other heat exchangers of Tema India include duplex, stainless steel and clad heat exchangers. The company also manufactures non-ferrous heat exchangers, low alloy steel heat exchangers, carbon steel heat exchangers. In addition to heat exchangers, our manufacturing range covers stainless steel / clad columns, low alloy / carbon steel columns and pressure vessels.

SURFACE CONDENSERS AND FEED WATER HEATERS

Tema India offers surface condensers and feed water heaters for power plants. The surface condensers, feed water heaters and feed cycle equipment are widely used in the power sector. The company has installed surface condensers, feed water heaters and feed cycle equipment for various power plants and supplied to overseas markets. Tema India has installed and commissioned a large axial flow condenser (8,620m²) and feed water heaters in technical collaboration with Balcke- Dürr Energietechnik GmbH of Germany.
