MACTRONIC ENERFLEX INNOVATIONS

Mactronic Enerflex is committed to delivering products and services that exceed our customers' requirements and expectations. This commitment has led to a number of industry firsts:

  • The first entirely electronic flare ignition system. Utilizing industry leading technology, our Mac Ignitor® and Slip Stream Ignition Chamber (SSIC) provide continuous, reliable ignition of flare gases. The Mac Ignitor® was created from a need to develop a more dependable and effective method of flare ignition
  • The first hydraulic erected, freestanding flare-stack standing over 100ft in height
  • A 415ft overall height by 42in diameter steam assist flare system, (in operation in Canada since 1991)
  • The first telemetry controlled, solar powered flare system for use in remote areas (on and offshore). These remotely operated systems require no pilot fuel gas or power supply
  • Patented retractable ignition system for safe, convenient maintenance. The need for cranes and costly plant shut downs is minimized

ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE

The flaring of disposal gases is a necessary part of most operations. We're working with our customers and with the petroleum industry towards "zero flaring" to reduce and better manage the release of hydrocarbon by products into the atmosphere. There is essentially no flaring except under emergency situations.

Reliable electronic ignition equipment is the key component in a reduced (zero) emission flare. Under many conditions, the Mac Ignitor® is used as the sole source of ignition, eliminating conventional pilot systems, their emissions, and associated fuel gas expense.

Our smokeless flare burners are designed to work on a ratio as low as one part air to one part hydrocarbon for some process situations. Various configurations provide smoke-free enhanced combustion and a significant reduction in harmful emissions.
