Advantica Appoints New Executive Director, UK and Europe

Loughborough, UK – International engineering consultancy Advantica is pleased to announce that Paul Shrieve has been appointed as Executive Director, UK and Europe, with effect from 3rd January 2007. Paul’s role will include business development, sales and project delivery. He will be based at both Advantica’s Aberdeen office and Loughborough headquarters.
Prior to joining Advantica, Paul enjoyed a successful 15-year career with Bureau Veritas, a global conformity assessment, consulting and training company. Based in Aberdeen since late 2001, Paul’s role for the past seven years has been as Vice President for the oil and gas North Sea region. Previously he was Managing Director of ATL Consulting Services, a leading asset integrity management consultancy.
Paul said, “I am joining Advantica at a very exciting time. The company is expanding globally and successfully developing new business in target territories worldwide. However, our heartland market of the UK and Europe remains important to the company in terms of servicing current customers and seeking new opportunities to expand our business in the territory. It is a challenge I am looking forward to”.
