POWER SUPPLIES

Power supplies from Weidmüller have proven themselves over many years in the supply of power to electronics modules. They are CE certified and comply with DIN EN 50081-1 and DIN EN 50082-2 (since 1st April 2002 EN 61000-6-2). Therefore, they can be safely used in industry, in small installations and also in residential areas. They have a proven performance, tested under the harshest environmental conditions.

Weidmüller offers power supply modules that are suitable for industrial use:

• non-stabilized transformer power supplies:
• primary switched-mode chopper-type regulators
• DC/DC converters
• in-phase regulated power supplies

Weidmüller power supplies already fulfil the applicable regulations in accordance with DIN IEC 38.

They also carry international approvals for world-wide use in many different applications. Following demands of the North American market, we have certified a range of power supplies to Class I, Division 2 requirements (equivalent Zone 2).

KLIPPON TB SERIES® ENCLOSURES

For harsh industrial environments Weidmüller's Klippon® Terminal Box (TB) -Series of enclosures is especially suitable. The Klippon® TB-Series allows to create competitive and adaptible solutions for electrical connections. Klippon® enclosures carry ATEX approval and are employed in the severest conditions.

FIELDBUS FOUNDATION (FF) AND PROFIBUS PA

These are open fieldbus standards (EN 50 170, IEC 1158-2) specifically developed for the requirements of the process industry, in particular remote supply and intrinsic safety. FF and PA permits several sensors and actuators to be operated on one common bus.

• Minimised design costs of the process control system
• Remote interrogation and programming of field devices

Weidmüller offers the fieldbus FB connector. In the event of service or plant modification, the FB connector permits connection or replacement of field devices without interrupting the bus system. Extensive accessories as well as preassembled cables and plugs round off the program.
