STATS UK is a specialist engineering company that operates predominantly in the arena of piping and pipeline integrity and maintenance. We supply a comprehensive range of products and services, which enable piping inspection, intervention, isolation, repair, connection, and testing work scopes. The majority of our works are undertaken on mature assets, typically process piping onboard offshore facilities (fixed and floating). We also supply products and services for infield and trunk pipelines both onshore and sub-sea, as well as onshore processing and distribution terminal facilities. Pipeline repair clampsSTATS offers a comprehensive range of pipeline repair clamps available for permanent or temporary installation, including ROV installed pipeline clamps. All clamps provide structural and/or pressure containment with single or dual seals. Our repair clamps are designed to suit piping systems and operating parameters from 0.75in upwards, including high and low pressures or sour systems. We undertake caisson repair work, clamps, liners and swaged sleeve options available to suit applications. Pinhole repair clamps can be supplied with temporary localised sealing bosses. Pipeline composite repairSTATS composite repair solutions provide permanent pipeline repair and are used to restore defective pipelines to full capacity. These products include clock spring, snap wrap, pipe support and contour, all of which provide pipeline operators with a reliable and cost-effective solution for pipe repair. Clock spring, snap wrap, pipe support and contour are an e-glass polyester composite sleeve, and can be found on high and low pressure transmission pipelines, in refineries, and on offshore operations all around the world. All products are suitable for high temperature applications. With increasing regulations, all products are subjected to many tests and are proven to be a permanent repair for metal loss defects. Connectors, couplings and hot tap clampsSTATS maintains a range of products that provide tie-in, connection and modification of existing systems, without the need for hot work. Hot tap clamps can provide structural and/or pressure containment, fitted with single or dual seals and off-takes to suit system requirements. We specialise in standardised 150# and 300# flanged connectors and pipe-to-pipe couplings. All of these products are fire-tested and third party approved. Couplings and connectors can be easily fitted and tested, minimising system downtime and enabling rapid re-commissioning of modified pipelines. Ambient to high pressure pipeline isolationWe supply mechanical and chemical isolation devices from 0.75in to 48in that are compliant with 1D - 5D bends. Our extensive product range allows for isolations to be undertaken safely and efficiently from ambient pressure through to high pressure applications. This product suite also allows for isolations to be undertaken where full bore access is not available. STATS’ Tecno Plug™ range provides ‘double block and bleed’ isolation tools for high-pressure pipeline operations. These dual-seal isolation plugs are available for remote, tethered, piggable or manual deployment and operation. Pipeline intervention can be achieved using the STATS BISEP™ (branch installed self-energised plug). This (patent pending) tool range is deployed through a full bore branch or hot tap penetration. This offers effective double block and bleed pipeline isolation with a single hot tap or branch. Gas bags offer ambient isolation with single or dual bag arrangements for downstream or annulus monitoring. Twin-seal annular test tools provide dual-seal isolation with downstream or annulus monitoring. Piggable gel plugs are available for ambient isolation and can be dissolved on completion of isolation. DynaCeal™ gel provides a pumpable gel isolation typically used for valve isolation, deployed through a small bore access or tapping. Annular and flanged test tools for welded jointsSTATS provides localised test tooling and associated equipment to test, modify and repair welded joints. Annular test tools incorporate twin-seals, while flange test tools provide localised leak testing from flange gaskets to compression seals. All test tools are supplied for either mechanical or hydraulic actuation. Significant time savings are made when using annular test tools due to the reduction in the amount of pipe work being tested. Onsite machining services and equipmentSTATS provides highly trained and competent personnel for worldwide field support on all product lines. To compliment our already comprehensive piping products and services, STATS offers a range of onsite machining services, including hot tapping, cold cutting, flange facing, bolting and ‘internal’ camera inspection services. 'Specialist' hydrocarbon displacement gels can also be supplied for pipeline and process flushing and oil recovery. Project management - project and design engineeringSTATS’s design engineering department utilises state-of-the-art 3D modeling and finite element analysis, in conjunction with engineering calculations and design processes, ensuring compliance with piping and pipeline codes and standards. As well as supporting standard product lines, this capability also supports feasibility studies, product development, R&D and project-specific bespoke engineering solutions. STATS product lines are controlled through in-house manufacturing and test facilities, all of which are subject to rigorous quality control and assurance processes. This is further enhanced by the provision of full product trialing and verification programmes (including full-scale mock-ups). Project management and engineering services are provided to support client needs, including turnaround scopes, feasibility studies and contingency planning. Our in-house expertise covers the plant’s life-cycle from pre-commissioning, through to decommissioning and abandonment. Production and fabrication STATS has a comprehensive machining and fabrication facility, and undertakes the majority of our manufacturing and fabrication requirements in-house. These facilities operate on a 24-hr basis as required, allowing for quality of work to be maintained and scheduling to be controlled.
