Stratstan - Chrome-Moly and Nickel Alloy Pipes, Flanges, Valves and Fittings

Stratstan is an ISO 9001:2000-approved company that has supplied piping materials to the power, oil and gas, and petrochemical industries for over 35 years. The company has held ISO quality approval since 1988.

Our range includes alloy pipes, flanges, fittings and valves for extreme temperature applications. We are also able to source and supply all other types of alloy and stainless piping materials, including Cupro nickel alloys and Duplex.

Chrome-moly and nickel alloy flanges

We have one of the most comprehensive stocks worldwide of flanges in chrome-moly and low-temperature 3.5% nickel alloys. Our stock range includes finished RF and RTJ weld neck, blind, socket weld and slip-on flanges.

In addition to finished flanges, we carry a large stock of forgings and semi-finished flanges. This provides us with the resources and flexibility to machine various types and sizes of flange, including 'specials', on very short delivery schedules.

Our flanges are stocked in accordance with the following specifications and standards:

• Material specifications: ASTM A182 F11, F22, F5, F9 and F91; ASTM A350 LF3
• Dimensional standards: ANSI / ASME B16.5, B16.36 and B16.47

Chrome-moly and nickel alloy butt weld elbows, tees, reducers, caps and crosses

We stock a vast range of butt weld elbows, tees, reducers, caps and crosses in chrome-moly and low-temperature 3.5% nickel alloys. We also have the ability to supply non-stock fittings on extremely short deliveries (three to four days) because we stock pipe in the same grades, which we can issue to the manufacturers.

Forged fittings (socket weld or screwed) are stocked finished or machined from forgings with a two to three-day lead-time.

BW fittings are stocked in accordance with the following specifications and standards:

• Material specifications: ASTM A234 WP11, WP22, WP5, WP9 and WP91; ASTM A420 WPL3
• Dimensional standard: ANSI / ASME B16.9

Chrome-moly and nickel alloy seamless and welded pipes

Our stock of seamless and welded pipes in chrome-moly and low-temperature 3.5% nickel alloys is one of the world's most comprehensive. All stock pipes up to 16in NB are seamless; larger sizes are seamless or welded.

We supply cut lengths, if required, and we can normally cut and ship stock pipes on the same day that we receive an order. Pipes are stocked in accordance with the following specifications and standards:

• Material specifications: ASTM A335 P11, P22, P5, P9 and P91; ASTM A333 Grade 3
• Dimensional standard: ANSI / ASME B36.10

Alloy piping materials for the hydrocarbons industry

An exhaustive worldwide network of supply contacts, from leading manufacturers to other stockists, enables us to source all alloy piping materials, including those outside our normal stock range.

We regularly place orders with sub-contractors for unusual or large items that are not available anywhere in stock. This typically includes seamless or welded fittings, up to or exceeding 36in diameter and 2in (50mm) wall thickness. It also includes special flanges and forged fittings. We are uniquely placed to do this because we either stock or have access to 'hard-to-find' base materials, which we free-issue to the sub-contractors.

Chrome-moly alloy gate, globe and check valves

Stratstan carries a stock of gate, globe and check valves in chrome-moly alloy grades with flanged, socket weld and screwed ends.

All cast valves are flanged integrally. Flanged valves up to 1.5in NB are forged and normally flanged integrally. Our gate, globe and check valves are stocked in accordance with the following material specifications: ASTM A182 F11, F5 and F9; ASTM A217 Cl2.
