Broady Flow Control - High Quality Relief, Safety Relief, Pressure Reducing and Sustaining Valves

Broady Flow Control is an independent valve manufacturer, specialising in innovative and effective solutions to satisfy its increasing customer demands, challenges and problems in flow control, namely plant protection and safety in both onshore and offshore applications.

Broady Flow Control has achieved considerable recognition and growth over the last two years by introducing a number of important changes i.e. reducing the overall operating cost base, introducing new products and industry approvals and significant changes in the structure and ownership of the company. Completing these changes has also seen the introduction of a new company name, 'Broady Flow Control Limited', a new image and logo, as well as a phased introduction of new brochures and advertising material.

• Relief, safety relief, pressure reducing and sustaining valve manufacturing and sales
• Valves for naval marine and other specialist applications
• Pattern makers and master founders of corrosion resistant copper alloys
• Valve overhaul and refurbishment

KEY INDUSTRY SECTORS

Broady Flow Control serve the following key industry sectors: naval, marine, chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, fire protection, industrial gases, power generation, and pulp and paper.

NON-FERROUS FOUNDRY DIVISION

Development of the non-ferrous foundry division continues, primarily in the transition from producing standard BS1400 LG2 castings to high integrity nickel aluminium bronze castings. It is proving remarkably successful and negotiations are at an advanced stage with a major castings user to secure a 'sole supply' contract over a seven-year period.

SAFETY RELIEF VALVES

A new range of safety relief valves, Series 3500- A.S.R.V., has been successfully developed to meet the rigorous requirements of the ASME Section 8, Divison 1 codification and has now been introduced to the market

PILOT OPERATED SAFETY VALVES

A new range of pilot operated safety valves (flowsafe) are now available from Broady in carbon steel and stainless steel with set pressures from 1 - 413Bar. These are approved to ASME Section 8, Division 1.

LOW PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES

A further new range of low pressure reducing valves type C-3L has been designed for gas blanketing applications. Remarkable reduced pressures are obtainable from this new valve following the investment in a new design package, 'Solid-Edge', together with our new state-of-the art flow testing facility.

The Broady Flow Control pressure reducing valve type AB and has been successfully approved for use on potable water by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS), thereby enabling a new market to be accessed. The approval is valid until the 16 May 2005.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

The company retained its ISO 9001 accreditation during the year and has new achieved CE marking approval on all applicable products in February 2002.
