Strong expertise in the management of fluids

Thanks to our strong expertise acquired over the years in the management of fluids, ODE has extended its products range. This includes solenoid valves 2/2, 3/2 and 5/2 way, normally closed and normally open, direct and indirect acting, combined operation and proportional SOV, which are designed with three dimensional CAD CAM systems.

Different sizes of the valves start from 1/8in and go up to 2in both Gas and NPT threads. ODE solenoid valves are widely used in several application industries such as:

The ODE solenoid valves are available in brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and technopolymer. Atex versions are also available for the hostile and hazardous environments. Seals of solenoid valves are offered in PTFE, FKM, NBR, EPDM and RUBY, while the temperature range covers from -40°C up to 180°C.

The coils in solenoid valves are available in all the usual voltages of AC and DC and are also available in latching coils. There are UL, CE-VDE versions as well as ATEX-approved. Solenoid valves for gas come with CE-DVGW and ATEX approval.

Solenoid valves for high pressure and temperature

The ODE range for high pressure is composed of solenoid valves and air-operated valves designed to work with pressure up to 100 bar and temperature up to 180°C. These valves are also suitable for automation, compressors, heating, and all those applications with gas, mineral oils, dry or lubrificated air, inert gas and aggressive fluids.

Explosion-proof solenoid valves ATEX Ex

Most of the ODE solenoid valves series have been made available in ATEX certified version with Ex m and Ex d housing and developed with specific technical solutions to control high flow of fluids and gases in the most common industrial applications as chemical and petrochemical sector.

Solenoid valves for fuel gas

ODE offers also a wide range of solenoid valves specific for the gas control conceptually divided into 3 groups, according to the operation criteria as shown below

Gas connections have threaded parallel with sizes from 1/2in to 2in and are made of brass or aluminum. Among them is fundamentally different to the design principles and functions that are able to cover common applications.

ODE was founded in 1960 and has been manufacturing and supplying products like valves, solenoid valves and pumps ever since. ODE has its commercial and administrative offices in Milan, Italy and a modern factory with advanced machines in Colico in Como lake area, near the Swiss border.

The company has constantly evolved itself over the years to meet the requirements of the rapidly-changing market. Thus, from the supplying of precision mechanical parts produced on commission for other companies, it passed through various phases and eventually turned to the production of solenoid valves, coils and pumps.

The Research and Development Department consists of engineers and technicians who are highly specialised and able to combine quality, reliability and attention to detail, creating products of high performance.
Bolstered by a strong expertise acquired over the years in the management of fluids, ODE added to the wide range of products for the specific line Gas, designed to meet the areas of power engine, burner, cogeneration and domestic installations and distribution network.
