Located in Ferrol, Bulbo is contracted by Navantia, who is responsible for the maintenance of ships and frigates of the Spanish Navy.

Bulbo is in need of repair the cover of the Cantabria frigate, because the coating applied during its manufacturing has weakened dramatically.

The methods used so far have not been helpful (industrial milling) mainly because of the sensors located at the bottom of the cover stop working, due to the vibrations caused by the milling machine.
