Is there a more reliable way to get the viscosity-temperature relation of a lube blend than prediction? Advanced calculation models are available to predict the behaviour of the blend. Still, a true measurement is indispensable. Traditional viscometer baths are not suitable to change temperatures fast. Here the Stabinger viscometer with its built-in temperature scan function comes in very handy.

How can petroleum production be optimised? All practically relevant conditions can be simulated in rheological tests at high-pressure and temperatures. In this way the viscosity and yield point of petroleum or production auxiliaries are determined.
