M&As this week: TransAtlantic Petroleum, Razor Energy, Vermilion Energy

US-based oil and gas company TransAtlantic Petroleum plans to dispose 100% stake in all of its primary assets.

The assets to be sold include oil and gas interests based in Turkey and Bulgaria.

Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co is the financial advisor, while Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld is the legal advisor for the transaction.

Canadian oil and gas company Vermilion Energy has signed a letter of intent to acquire Privateco for C$90.8m ($72.82m).

The purchase consideration will be funded by Vermilion Energy through its existing credit facilities.

Scheduled for completion by 15 February, the acquisition is expected to strengthen the Vermilion Energy’s business operations.
