AMB-Hertel has won an insulation and scaffolding contract from Samsung Engineering for the (Takreer) Ruwais refinery expansion project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The $2.7bn, two-year contract covers 180,000m² and includes the process, desalination and wastewater treatment areas, according to Trade Arabia.
The services include providing insulation and scaffolding services, which are needed to link the new areas with the existing Ruwais refinery plant.
The contract is one of the eight packages to be awarded for the project.
AMB-Hertel is a joint venture between Al Masaood Group and Hertel, a global industrial services company.
