Gulf Coast Fractionators to Expand Liquids Facility

Gulf Coast Fractionators is planning to expand the natural gas liquids fractionation capacity of its Mont Belvieu facility in Texas, US.

The capacity will be expanded to 145,000 barrels per day, up 42% from its current level.

The operator of the facility, ConocoPhillips, will manage the $75m expansion programme.

The expansion is expected to be operational during the second quarter of 2012.

Gulf Coast Fractionators is a joint venture between ConocoPhillips, Devon Energy Corporation and Targa Resources Partners.
