Juniper Capital and BoomTown Oil form strategic partnership


US energy investment firm Juniper Capital II has formed a strategic partnership with BoomTown Oil to pursue and develop conventional and unconventional oil and gas potential in multiple basins of Lower 48, initially focusing on the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas.

Boasting of a wide range skills and expertise, the company has acquired petrophysical and reservoir engineering experience from Shell E&P and Rosetta Resources. It has also gained substantial transactional and operational expertise after founding South Texas Reservoir Alliance. 

BoomTown were instrumental in the identification and early entry into prospective plays that includes Woodford Scoop, Niobrara and Eagle Ford Shale.

The team's operational experience includes both conventional and unconventional settings across multiple basins where they have acquired / leased in excess of 180,000 acres and drilled hundreds of horizontal wells.
