M&As this week: Blue Sky Power Holdings, Tri-Point, Blue Sky Energy

Blue Sky Power Holdings, through its wholly owned subsidiary Goldlink Capital, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to acquire OctoNet and Shenzhen City Jiemei Shihua Investment Company.

The transaction will involve the acquisition of 100% stake in OctoNet from Minliang and 100% stake in Shenzhen City Jiemei Shihua, from two individual investors.

Blue Sky Power will use a refundable earnest money of $14.89m and refundable earnest money of $22.76m to pay Minliang and individual investors respectively.

Jilin Haoyuan runs two CNG refuelling stations for vehicles and supplies piped gas to residential households, commercial users and public buildings.

The transaction will allow Blue Sky Power to serve a wider customer base across more provinces in China.

Tri-Point Oil & Gas Production Systems has completed the acquisition of Leed Fabrication Services, Streamline Production Systems and Superior Fabrication.

Leed Fabrication offers wellhead production equipment and emission control devices, as well as complementary field services and technical support.

Streamline Production is the provider of custom production equipment and fully engineered modular production systems, while Superior Fabrication manufactures oil and gas production and processing equipment.

The acquisition of the three companies allows Tri-Point to expand its oil and gas products and services portfolio.

Blue Sky Energy (BSI) has completed the acquisition of 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Sonoro Energy Iraq (Sonoro Iraq) from Sonoro Energy International Holdings.

The transaction involved contingent payments of $3m by Blue Sky to Sonoro Energy in tranches.

Sonoro Iraq operates a number of licenses under agreements with the Al-Salah ad Din Provincial Government of Iraq.

The acquisition allows BSI to fortify its oil and gas operations in the Salah ad Din province.
