M&As this week: Ranger Energy, Optime Subsea Services

Ranger Energy Services has completed the acquisition of Magna Energy Services, a provider of plug and abandonment, rig services, fluid handling, water transfer, and wireline services.

The deal allows Ranger Energy to extend its service portfolio geographical footprint.

The company has concurrently acquired oilfield services company Bayou Workover Services.

Optime Subsea Services has agreed to merge with Telemark Technologies AS. The new entity will operate under the name Optime Subsea Services.

Optime Subsea Services offers well intervention and completion solutions, including a light completion intervention system and remotely operated completion system.

The merger will allow Optime Subsea Services to promote its subsea installation solution worldwide.
