Elliott Company, a leading provider of turbo machinery for the petrochemical and power generation industries, has opened a representative office in Moscow. The strategic location will allow the company to better serve its Russian customers.
David Baker, Elliott’s regional director for engineered products, who presides over opening events, said: “We are looking forward to expanding our presence in Russia and for the opportunity to build deeper relationships with our customers. We see enormous potential in the Russian petrochemical industry for our equipment and services.”
Elliott’s new office in Moscow complements its already strong presence in the region through projects for companies such as Lukoil, Taneco, TNK-BP and
Sakhalin Energy. Mr Baker said: “The recent commissioning of Russia’s first LNG plant on Sakhalin Island is a good example. Elliott compressors are the heart of the new plant. We supplied the main refrigerant compressors, including an 88MB6-5 vertically-split multi-stage centrifugal compressor with a rated power of 69MW, the largest vertically-split compressor ever built by Elliott.”
Elliott Moscow is a cooperative effort between Elliott’s engineered products and global services business units, and encompasses sales, engineering and service personnel. The new office is conveniently located in central Moscow at Sushchevsky Val 5 build. 3, Moscow, 127018.
