Epoxy-resin grouts

Chockfast® grout is a mix of high-strength epoxy-resin compounds developed for the support of any machine, engine, equipment or structure requiring a strong corrosion-resistant base. The system includes a range of pourable resins with complementary uses, allowing individual requirements to be met.

The major advantages of Chockfast® epoxy resin over steel and cement are:

Epoxy-resin grouts for machinery support

The Chockfast® industrial range of machinery grouts has been specifically formulated for supporting critically aligned heavy rotating machinery such as large process compressors, diesel engines, pumps and fans on steel or concrete foundations.

Traditionally this type of machinery has been mounted on steel shims or packing before flooding the base with a cementitous grout. This is a time-consuming and unreliable method now superseded by the use of these new-generation high-strength epoxy-resin grouts, which eliminate the steel packing and the requirement for machined steel sole plates.

Once a machine is supported by Chockfast®, long-term foundation security is guaranteed due to the physical properties and the ‘as cast’ fit of Chockfast®.

Epoxy-resin grouts for industrial structural applications

Chockfast® is not only confined to supporting rotating machinery but is also used to make up gaps between the flanges of beams and columns on structural steelwork or for providing the ‘load path’ between any load-bearing static items where movement cannot be tolerated.
