Primary Flow Signal (PFS), the leading designer and manufacturer of innovative, durable and accurate flow-metering solutions for water/wastewater, industrial and oil and gas applications, announced that PFS president Bruce Briggs will be speaking at the American Water Works Association’s (AWWA’s) annual conference and exhibition in Hawaii on Wednesday 8 May at 2pm.
Mr Briggs’ presentation, titled "Venturi Meters for Accurate and Reliable Flow Rate Control and Wide Range Metering", will discuss the role Venturi meters have in delivering accurate, reliable, and wide-range metering for liquids and gases.
"I’m pleased to be part of the AWWA Hawaii conference and am looking forward to furthering the conversation surrounding the need for an accurate and reliable method of flow measurement for liquids and gases, including water and air applications for municipal treatment plant applications," he said.
"Primary Flow Signal’s differential producing Venturi meters operate on the basis of scientifically-proven technology and can be used for long periods of time with little maintenance yet with consistent performance."
The AWWA is an international nonprofit educational association dedicated to sustainable safe water, with 43 sections in North America. The AWWA Hawaii conference focuses on the advancement and dissemination of knowledge concerning the improvement of practice in the design, construction, operation, and management of water works operations.
