Guyana Timber Products (GTP) Europe is a leading provider of offshore timber crane mats. The company is the European marketing and sales organisation of Guyana Mats & Timbers (GMT) in Guyana. GMT’s head office is in the capital Georgetown and its processing plant is in the township of Soesdyke, located near to the airport and Demerara River. The company in Guyana is owned by European shareholders.

In the last three years, more than 10,000m³ of mats have been processed and assembled in Guyana, for customers all over the world. For the European market GMT and GTP Europe have entered into an exclusive agreement for the marketing and sales of mats and other timber products for Europe. GMT only uses woods with verified legal sources for its timber products.
Hard and soft wood crane mats
