The need for organisations to give consideration to cyber security issues is becoming more important than ever before as digital transformation continues to advance rapidly.
Germany’s new IT Security Act requires the operators of critical infrastructures to set up an Information Security Management System (ISMS). While the Implico Group is not legally obligated to establish an ISMS, some of its customers are.
Responding to its customers’ increasing demands vis-à-vis their suppliers, Implico is now introducing such a system.
For this purpose, the company’s executive management has signed an ISMS mission statement.
Before the end of the year, the software and consulting company will develop and roll out an extensive set of regulations for its data centers and IT services. These will be aimed at achieving maximum security through compliance, a highly secure environment for customer data, state-of-the-art risk management processes and the avoidance of security breaches.
In this process, Implico will collaborate closely with consultants, partners and customers.
The company aims to have its management system certified according to ISO 27001 by the first quarter of 2018.
