Implico is pleased to announce that it will be presenting at the first installment of the Petrochemical & Refining Congress (PRC Europe), taking place from 22-23 May 2017 at the Radisson BLU Hotel in Hamburg, Germany.
Under the slogan ‘The Future is Here’, the Implico Group will be showing its cutting-edge solutions for refineries and tank terminals.
In a joint presentation with its customer Rompetrol, Implico will be explaining how handhelds can make railcar loading more efficient.
Awaiting visitors to PRC Europe 2017 in Hamburg in May are state-of-the-art technologies and the newest trends, challenges and solutions.
Leading representatives from the industry will discuss topics such as the Internet of Things, Operational Excellence, and the latest refinery technology.
International software and consulting company Implico will present its innovative solutions for refineries at Stand 4.
Implico managing partner Michael Martens said: "The European refinery industry is currently undergoing a sea change. Efficient and intelligent logistics processes are playing a more important role than ever in helping companies compete in the market.
"We not only offer the right tools, but with our managed services we also help our customers with the operational aspects of their daily business."
Implico’s iGOS solutions improve supplier collaboration by linking different players, such as refineries, in the cloud.
Demand for these services is a reality, rather than a future vision. Indeed, many petroleum companies have already announced their adoption of a ‘Cloud First’ strategy.
Implico will also be presenting one of its latest developments at the PRC; the company recently launched a handheld solution that allows refinery operators to take the next step toward the Internet of Things (IoT).
It provides a direct link between employees on site, those involved in loading the railcars, for example, and the OpenTAS terminal management system.
Important information is therefore available immediately to all those who need it. At PRC Europe 2017, Dan Negru, IT Project Manager at Rompetrol, and Dimitris Pagonis, Head of Sales Global Markets at Implico, will demonstrate the practical benefits of the solution.
Their talk ‘Next-Level Railcar Loading for Refineries: Optimized Operations and Processes Powered by Innovative Handheld Solutions’ will take place on 23 May at 4pm.
