M&As this week: 3esi-Enersight, Viking Energy

3esi-Enersight has completed the acquisition of Energy Navigator Inc for an undisclosed sum.

Energy Navigator is the provider of Value Navigator (Val Nav) and AFE Navigator (AFE Nav) software.

Val Nav is a reserves evaluation and management software solution, while AFE Nav is an AFE workflow, approvals and capital tracking system.

3esi-Enersight intends to bridge the gap between planning and reserves management through the integration of Val Nav and AFE Nav capabilities into their solution for integrated strategy, planning and execution.

Viking Energy Group Inc has agreed to acquire the entire issued and outstanding membership units of a privately owned oil and gas company for the sum of $25m.

Viking Energy will pay an initial consideration of $10m at closing and the remaining $15m within six months of the acquisition's closing date, along with an interest rate of 8% a year.

The target company holds working interest in 12 oil and gas fields located across 11,629 gross acres.

The average production from the fields is estimated to be 1,200 barrels of oil equivalent a day (boed).
