By sensing points on a tank’s vertical profile, the location and thickness of the emulsion rag layer can be determined. Arjay uses capacitance probes to monitor the dielectric of the liquid at multiple points in the tank.
Probes can be installed from the top down or through side ports, making it easy for retrofit applications.
Any number of probes can be used depending on the on the resolution and range desired.
The Arjay 4100-PRO controller monitors the probe inputs to provide a graphic view of the profile and further interfacing to control chemical injection and flow rates.
