PKN Orlen Shortlists Bidders for Anwil Sale

Polish oil refiner PKN Orlen said it has shortlisted three potential buyers for its petrochemical company Anwil.

PKN Orlen will receive final offers after due diligence of the unit by the shortlisted bidders, the company said.

Sale negotiations are expected to take place in January 2010, company officials said.

The company had stored strategic oil reserves worth $2.09bn (5.8bn zloty) at the end of Q3 2009.
