Foster Wheeler wins EPCM contract for South African refinery

Foster Wheeler has received an engineering, procurement and construction management services (EPCM) contract from Engen Petroleum for its refinery in South Africa.

Under the contract, Foster Wheeler will provide EPCM services for the new multi-products pipeline feeder lines and infrastructure project at the Durban refinery.

The project will involve the development of the pipeline network from Engen’s depots to tie in to the Transnet pipeline in order to improve Engen’s access to South Africa’s key refined product markets.

Transnet is the principal operator of South Africa’s fuel pipeline system.
