Lewa diaphragm pumps are particularly well-suited for oil and gas applications due to their leak-proof capability and built-in hydraulic pressure relief for safety. Their high-suction pressure capability can efficiently transfer difficult-to-handle liquids, including slurry, toxic and flammable types.

Standard and customised metering packages

Lewa staff can provide metering packages to suit any environment or particular requirements. The Lewa natural gas odorising unit is completely enclosed and contains a charcoal filter to neutralise any leaked odours to the outside, making it well-suited for installation in residential areas. The cabinet is completely isolated and the control unit is directly mounted onto the cabinet, making this design suitable for ex-zone environments.

Lewa also provides several de-centralised units for odorising natural gas that are equipped with a measuring burette, filter and shut-off valves to measure the remaining volume in the odorant supply tank. The OD7 and OD8 supply tanks in particular can be changed by stopping odorisation.

For environments where a charge or electricity is not always available, Lewa’s solar powered metering package can operate independently from an external power supply. It can also operate virtually service-free and can be easily dismantled, transported and re-installed. The system uses the Lewa type MLM solenoid-operated diaphragm for solar powered packages. For particularly remote locations a radio transmitter can be attached to the system to monitor the pump function, with only yearly maintenance services required.

The ecoflow metering pump series is highly effective for gentle metering of highly viscous fluids in the production of biofuels, and can be configured from a variety of standardised assembly options to suit any client’s specifications.

The diaphragm’s pump head is designed to provide a high level of operational safety while working in the optimum operating range. The low-wear pumps and pressure limiting valve in particular ensure the Ecoflow pump can work without any operational hazards.

The Ecoflow comes in three models: the M900, M200 / M400 series and the K series. The M900 is well-suited to handle all types of fluids, including critical, toxic or flammable waste. The M200 / M400 series is made for high temperatures and pressures with its diffusion-tight metal diaphragm. As for simple fluids, the K series can efficiently transfer fluids on systems with plunger pump heads.
