voestalpine Tubulars, an Austrian-based seamless steel pipe manufacturer, produces seamless steel pipes with an outside diameter of up to 7in (177.8mm) for the oil and gas industry (tubing, casing and accessories, line pipe, boiler and heat exchanger tubes) and industrial tube segments (mechanical and pressure tubes).

With long-term experience in pipe production for the international oil and gas industry and industrial segments, voestalpine Tubulars can offer cutomers flexibility in production lots and delivery time, fully-integrated from raw material to final product, state-of-the-art technology in production and inspection, strict quality control with latest hi-tech equipment and tailor-made solutions for special applications.

Oil country tubular goods (OCTG)

voestalpine Tubulars tubing, casing and accessories are available in API or proprietary grades (VA series – sour service grades, high collapse grades, deep well grades, low temperature grades, 1% chromium grades and some combinations thereof), with API or proprietary / premium thread connections, such as VAGT®, a gas tight thread connection field tested by millions of feet successfully installed worldwide; VAsuperior®, another gas tight thread connection designed to meet ISO 13679; CAL IV, already in service in North America, Africa, Europe, CIS and Asia; and VAroughneck®, a connection suitable for rotated strings.

VAroughneck is the company’s latest development, already used on two continents with another continent to follow shortly. Flush or other premium connections are available upon request.

Industrial tubes

In addition to the seamless tubular products used in the drilling and completion of oil and gas wells, voestalpine Tubulars produces mechanical tubes, boiler and heat exchanger tubes, pressure tubes and line pipe.

These pipes are delivered to the automotive, petrochemical, construction, mining, tunnelling and fluid transportation industries. All products are available according to numerous international standards and / or according to customer specifications.

Thermomechanically treated seamless tubes

Industrial tubes products are available as ToughTubes® – thermomechanically treated seamless tubes. Benefits of thermomechanical rolling include:
